It's a mascara, let's not get too excited.
Too Faced Cosmetics are a beauty brand we wish were stocked in Donegal, or at least somewhere nearby.
They have some truly beautiful eyeshadow palettes I’m always lusting after, with some of the most gorgeous and colourful packaging which often reminds me of Benefit Cosmetics.
I had the chance to try out their original Better Than Sex Mascara this month, and I can’t lie – I was tempted by the name.
Lust
Better Than Sex is supposed to have us lusting for more as we apply each layer. I did find it to be a great buildable mascara that doesn’t clump when you apply many layers
The brush applicator was designed to appear like a woman’s hourglass figure. It is wide on both ends and curved, and despite the size it actually worked well for applying to my lower lashes. I would have often had smudges on my under eye area with other wands, but not with this one.
Flirty
Better Than Sex creates a great curl and volume – more so than any lengthening effects. It has a pretty finish that is natural with one coat for daytime and can be intensified for night.
The packaging has a premium feel, and the rose gold finish caters to our recent obsession with the trend. There’s also a waterproof option available in a frosted blue colour.
Better Than Sex has become my everyday mascara – it’s lusciously lovely, but more flirtatious than sexy.

I’ve been seduced by a mascara, of all things. Better Than Sex provides a lovely set of full lashes without any clumps or smudges. A great versatile mascara that’s worth the €23 price tag.
