We knew Emma Watson + Disney would make a beautiful combination. A full-length trailer for the live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast was released today, and we were instantly enamoured with it. 

All the glimpses and sneak previews of Emma as Belle showed us that this was going to be a special feature for the British actress. Now, in this trailer we see much more of the story.

The tale is dark, but the movie seems to be taking a tame PG tone. Dan Stevens plays the Beast – and the CGI-generated cursed prince really isn’t so scary looking.

Scenes featuring the townspeople, including Luke Evans as Gaston, show lavish costuming and grand balls. But it’s Emma who shines brightest. It’s clear we’re going to see a sensitive and plucky heroine who wins the heart of the Beast and the magical inhabitants of his castle.

This edition of the classic romance tale comes from director Bill Condon and is set to be released in March 2017. Of course, it’s going to be a huge hit.
