Ireland's representative was a vision in green at the Miss World 2016 pageant, but failed to make it to the top 30 in the glamorous contest.
Niamh Kennedy, a 21-year-old student from Tipperary, was up against 116 other women in the competition which was held in Maryland last night.
International Finance and Economics, she was also promoting the charity of Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland during the campaign.
Niamh was championing an Irish designer in the contest, wearing an emerald evening gown by Bren Marc Scully.
The overall winner and Miss World for 2016 was Stephanie Del Valle from Puerto Rico. The 19-year-old musician, model and beauty queen is currently studying at university in New York.
The first runner-up was Yaritza Miguelina Reyes Ramirez of the Dominican Republic, and became the Miss World Indonesia Natasha Mannuela, became the second-runner up.
Rosanna Davison is the only Irish entry to win the contest, taking the crown in 2003.
