“Having taken a break from my education to pursue modelling four years ago I am now back at college studying at LYIT School of tourism Killybegs.
“I am working part time at the luxurious 5* Solis Lough Eske Castle hotel Donegal as well as modelling part time with my mother agency in Belfast CMPR whom i have been signed to for just over 5 years.
“I am not about to stop modeling any time soon!
Here is Sarah’s style study for Donegal Woman
1. How would you describe your personal style?
My personal style is definitely a mix. It’s quite chic, sporty and a little glam. I like to play around with styles so it’s constantly changing.
2. Who is your style icon?
The past few years i have been following supermodel Miranda Kerr. I think her style is incredible, especially her off duty looks.
3. What is your favourite piece of clothing?
A black leather jacket i bought from Zara. I just love it. It adds an edge to any look.
4. What inspires you when choosing an outfit?
It depends on the occasion really. I know what suits my body shape and what doesn’t so it’s about what compliments my figure and colouring while also expressing my personality.
5. How would you accessorise a look?
I keep it quite simple when it comes to accessories. I like to stack rings, simple necklaces. In winter i would accessorise more with scarves and hats. I am also loving belts at the moment.
6. What is your most recent fashion purchase?
I bought a super cute bodysuit from topshop just before Christmas. I can’t wait to wear it. I am a little obsessed with bodysuits.
7. Where do you usually shop for clothing?
Topshop (which is my absolute favourite) Zara, H&M, New Look, River Island. Some of my online shopping favourites are Asos, Missguided and Na-kd.
8. Do you have any favourite local fashion boutiques?
Where I live in Portnoo there sadly aren’t any local fashion boutiques.
9. What are your wardrobe staples?
Skinny jeans, leather jacket, stiletto heels and of course a LBD
10. Do you follow trends?
I do take inspiration from trends but I put my own spin on them to suit my style.
11. Heels or flats?
I am definitely a heel girl
12. Shoes or handbags?
Shoes
13. What is the best piece of fashion advice you’ve ever heard?
Dress in what makes you comfortable
14. What do you think about the fashion scene in Donegal?
On a whole the people of Donegal are very fashionable.
15. What has been your best investment piece?
Again the black leather jacket I bought from Zara about two years ago. It is still in perfect condition and I wear it a lot. A leather jacket is a timeless piece.
16. What’s the wackiest item you own?
Probably a jumpsuit I got when I took part in Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model. It is brown with endless amounts of sequences. Not sure what i was thinking in even taking it home but it is still in my wardrobe.
17. If you could wear only one outfit for the rest of your life, what would it be?
It would be a LBD I got from NA-KD fashions online before Christmas. I absolutely adore it. It compliments my figure perfectly.
18. What has been your biggest fashion faux-pas?
I was obsessed with the Spice Girls when I was younger and I went to my niece’s christening when I was 7 with a florescent green crop top with Spice Girls written on it, multicoloured bicycle shorts and black painted shoes.
I have an excuse though, I was only 7.
19. If money wasn’t a factor, what would you buy?
A Chanel bag
20. How do you feel when you’re in your favourite outfit?
Happy, confident, comfortable and elegant.
