A Donegal community group is coming together to knit blankets for impoverished children in Africa.
Volunteers are invited to share an hour together in the Clonmany Day Centre and help knit small squares to be turned into blankets.
These blankets will be donated to ‘fish and chip’ babies in Africa. These newborn babies are so called because they are wrapped in newspaper. They do not have clothes or blankets to keep them warm at night.
If you have time to spare for this worthy cause, come along to the Clonmany Centre at 2.45pm today (Tuesday, 31st January). The meetings will run every week for the next eight weeks.

I would like to get in touch as I think my Mam would be able to do lots for you. I’m in Dublin though, so we’d have to post them up?
Thanks

Could you give me an address to send fish and chip blankets? I live in the UK, but don’t seem to be able to find any suitable drop off points for blankets I already have. Would be happy to post them to you if you can do with them.
