A fundraiser has been set up to support the local counselling service in Kilclooney, Portnoo, which is provided by Downstrands Family Resource Service.

Downstrands Family Resource Service provides counselling for both adults and children.

On Saturday the 22nd of April, participants will make their way down to Narin beach at 7:30pm, and exchange a small donation for a pebble to carry with them as they all walk together towards Portnoo Pier.

The pebble will symbolize any worries or stresses in your life in that moment – and at the end, everyone will throw their pebble into the tide.

As the walk is only 2km, it is family friendly and everyone is more than welcome to ‘tide their troubles’ by joining the walk.

Refreshments will be provided in Iniskeel Hall on the way back.
