Mulroy Under-12 girls won an Easter Tournament last week in Kilkenny.

It was their first time to take part in the tournament, run by the Kilkenny Woman’s Football Club.

Mulroy topped their group, winning six out of six in the group stage.

In the final, they came up against a strong Cavan side and, after a scoreless draw, Mulroy prevailed on sudden death penalties.

Mulroy captain Rachel Friel was presented with the trophy to complete a successful trip.
