Catriona Mulhern of Pop Up Pubs is tapping into World Beer Day with a message for all beer lovers.
Today, Friday, is International Beer Day – a global celebration of beer, taking place in pubs, breweries, and backyards all over the world.
Donegal businesswoman Catriona Mulhern is the mastermind of Pop Up Pub, and is marking the holiday with a message to everyone across the world to wish them “Happy World Beer Day”
Catriona, a mother of two from County Donegal launched her business in February 2015 after leaving her full-time job at Heineken Ireland.
She saw the pub trade decline and noticed more and more people were partying at home, so she and her partner created a Pop Up Pub service in Ireland.
They have since created the world’s first Irish Thatched Cottage Air Building for the US market and are popping up all over the globe.
Catriona’s drone video of her pub at Donegal’s biggest celebrity charity event at Rosapenna Golf Course last May has gained international attention.
