Donegal's Rose of Tralee representative Amy Callaghan is throwing a big party before setting out for Kerry this week.
The 22-year-old Letterkenny woman is in for an exciting month ahead of the Rose of Tralee International Festival.
She will have a busy schedule of events around the all-important Live Selection Night on 21st-22nd August.
Friends and supporters are gathering at the Orchard Inn, Letterkenny, this evening (Wednesday 9th August) to wish her all the best.
Amy said this will be a night for her to thank all those who have helped her on her journey so far.
The night of music and dancing begins at 9pm. Martin Orr and band will be performing on the night.
Amy is a talented dance graduate and dreams of joining Cirque Du Soleil to perform all over the world. She is a proud advocate of local charities Jigsaw and Pieta House, which promote positive mental health in the community.
All are welcome to Amy’s send off in The Orchard Inn tonight to wish her luck as she flies the flag for Donegal. She even has a personalised Donegal jersey to display the county colours in Tralee!
