Ireland AM presenter Ciara Doherty has wed Richard Stearn at a gorgeous ceremony in the Montserrat mountains near Barcelona.
Donning an exquisite Orlaith Carroll gown, the Letterkenny native celebrated her wedding day with her 120 guests.
Richard popped the question on New Year’s Eve in 2015 while visiting Donegal.
The smitten couple are now jetting off for a two-month honeymoon, backpacking around North America and South America.

In a column for WeddingsOnline.ie earlier this summer, Ciara says that divine intervention was at play when her then fiancée got moved to her department at TV3. Butterflies soon ensued.
“He got transferred within the company and we were thrown together more frequently. I told myself “Not this year sister, you don’t have the time”. I’m obviously a person of my word because within weeks and with only months to go to major exams, we started going out.
“And there goes those pesky clichés again… “When you know, you know”. It was simple, straight forward and magic.
“Richard was perfect for me and he loved Donegal. Well that clinched it.”
Ciara also says that while she was planning her beauty regimen for the big day, Richard had only one piece of advice; “Less is more in the make-up department, please don’t arrive caked in stuff!”

Ciara was also delighted this week as her little cousin Amy Callaghan represented Donegal in the Rose of Tralee International Festival!
“So proud of the little girl I used to babysit,” she tweeted.
