The Patrick Gildea Hairdressing team recently celebrated an incredible year in the Centre of Excellence and made a special presentation to a valued colleague.
Noreen Gallagher from Donegal Town was honoured for her twenty years of service during the special event at Castle Grove Country House Hotel.
Noreen has moved up the ranks in the salon to become the Artistic Director and team leader. She is also a fully Qualified Master Colour Expert Technician which is one of the highest colour merits in the world.

Irish Hairdressing Federation Icon Patrick paid a special tribute to Noreen, saying “I have had the privilege of working with many great people over the years, some have moved on while others are still working with me today. It is a great testament to our team that we have maintained excellent working relationships and I am delighted to see so many of our team stay with us throughout their hairdressing career.
“I am honoured to present Noreen, with a token to thank her for her commitment and hard work over the past twenty years. Noreen is a wonderful person, a fantastic hairdresser- who has an incredible connection with both her guests and team members and even after twenty years she has such a passion to learn embracing training with great enthusiasm and pride at all times. We are delighted to have Noreen as our Salon Ambassador.”
A surprised Noreen was visibly emotional by such a heartfelt gesture and spoke candidly about her twenty very happy years as part of the Patrick Gildea Hairdressing Family- she thanked Patrick for his guidance and inspiration over the years and expressed her excitement about the future.

If this year is anything to go by, the future of Patrick Gildea Hairdressing is going to be very bright indeed.
The multi award winning salon let loose and took some time to savour their success this year during the party at the beautiful Castle Grove Country House Hotel.
Patrick pulled out all the stops and treated his talented team to a wonderful evening filled with fabulous food, entertainment and of course great company in gorgeous surroundings.
The night was filled with fun, laughter and reflection on what has been a very special year – where the salon was recognised for its Customer Service with two awards and winning “Best Salon in Ireland” for the third year in a row – 2015, 2016 and 2017.
