Three Donegal woman put on a remarkable performance at yesterday's NI & Ulster Road Relay Championships.
A record total of 179 teams took part at the Championships which were hosted by Orangegrove AC at Victoria Park in Belfast.
Maria Ní Mhaolagáin, Noeleen Scanlan and Nakita Burke secured silver and will now bring the medal back to The Hills.
Coach Sean McFadden told Donegal Woman that he is very proud of their exceptional performance yesterday.
“These girls put in a great performance and they have come out with a silver medal, only 35 seconds behind some of the top running clubs in Northern Ireland, it’s great for them.”
Letterkenny AC’s Ann Marie McGlynn, Natasha Adams and Fionnuala Diver also took part in the Masters’ event.
