"Whaaaaaaat thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa??????"
There was much celebration (and hungry minds) last night when the Just Eat Ireland National Takeaway Awards were announced.
It was a triumph for foodies in Letterkenny as two local eateries picked up top awards.
Out of 20,000 votes for 2,000 Just Eat restaurants, we can now say that Ireland’s best Takeaway and Chipper are just a short distance away.
Mexican street food style takeaway Burrito Loco was the clear winner, and they went loco on winning each award.

On winning Best Takeaway Lunchtime, Burrito Loco wrote: OOOOO EEEMMMM GEEEE !!!! THANK YOU XX
At Best Takeaway Ulster they said: Whoooooow thank you so much ?
Then, for the ultimate award of Best Takeaway Ireland, they were clearly stunned: Whaaaaaaat thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa??????
Burrito Loco are well-known for fresh ingredients, customisable dishes, fast service and great flavour across their dishes. Burritos, crispy tacos, loaded nachos and healthy salad boxes are all top choices for customers calling into the shop on Letterkenny’s Port Road or ordering online.
Interest has piqued for the takeaway all over Ireland, and we can imagine there will be plenty of fresh orders over the next week from curious new customers. So, understandably Burrito Loco have plenty of reasons to celebrate!
Best Takeaway wasn’t the only prize for Donegal last night – we now have Ireland’s best chipper on our doorstep too.
