An Inishowen schoolgirl who was declared missing today has been found.

17-year-old Rochelle Logue from Buncrana had been missing for over 24 hours. She has thankfully been located and her family have expressed their relief.

Just before 4pm today, Gardai contacted the Logue family to say Rochelle had been located safe and well in Buncrana.

She was taken to Buncrana Garda station and is due to be reunited with her family shortly.

Rochelle’s father Allen told Donegal Daily that he would like to thank everyone who has been involved in finding his daughter.

“It was a very worrying time but thankfully we know she is safe and well now.

“We would like to thank everyone who has been out looking for Rochelle and done anything in any way for us,” he said.
