The Donegal Women in Business Network celebrated a year of success, growth and friendship today at a Christmas Lunch at Castle Grove Country House Hotel.
Members of the network gathered in the festive wonderland of the Letterkenny hotel to reflect on the year and look ahead to an even more prosperous future.
The DWIBN has seen great growth in 2017, registering 160 members and expanding their online reach via regular events and campaigns. Events including a Business Start Up Clinic on International Women’s Day, the Connect to Grow Conference, regular workshops and a Christmas Craft Fair all served to support and encourage local women in enterprise.
The committee, including President Deirdre McGlone, Secretary Trish McGinley and PRO Evelyn McGlynn took the change to thank all women for their involvement in 2016. They hinted towards more big plans for January 2018 and beyond.
Today wasn’t all about business either, but about enjoying a delicious gourmet meal together and having some festive fun after a busy year. Many members won great prizes in a raffle, while a Secret Santa ensured the feeling of goodwill was strong among all attendees.
