WATCH: Doireann Garrihy’s new RTE show has fans in stitches

If you love her on Snapchat, you’ll love The Doireann Project!

The witty DJ and Snapchat Influencer has just released her own RTE comedy show – The Doireann Project.

The 10 minute online episode is a compilation of quick-witted skits and pokes at Irish celebrities and stereotypical figures.

Fans of Doireann will know her for impersonating bloggers, but no one is safe in this new show: presenters Maura and Daithi, Hollywood actress Saoirse Ronan, the always busy Pippa O’Connor and sugar-fearing Dr Eva Orsmond all get a touch.

It’s not all impressions either, as you’ll see original characters and sketches written by Fiona Looney featuring the Gardai and Irish Mammies.

Doireann told fans this snippet was a hopeful sign of more to come:“It’s a bite-sized episode and it is a pilot, so if it goes down well, if the reaction is well, that hopefully more will come and it will be commissioned for proper series.”

Fans are loving it and already calling for a full series:

The reaction was so huge for Doireann that it crashed her Snapchat – we think that says it all!
