Paint Your Baby Bump Day is coming to Donegal for the first time to celebrate World Maternal Mental Health Day.

A team of local women have organised a fun, thoughtful and creative gathering of local mothers this May 5th in Letterkenny. The event is free, while all donations on the day will be in aid of The Victoria Thompson Scholarship.

Guest speakers will be sharing insight on many aspects of Maternal Mental Health and there will be Reflexology taster sessions throughout the day. The event is free for all mums-to-be, mums and children. Slots can be booked now at: https://www.facebook.com/events/183731742351945/

Why Paint Your Baby Bump?

Paint Your Bump Day is an initiative set up by two Irish women to encourage women to talk about their transition to pregnancy and motherhood and the struggles of being a mother.

Mums-to-be everywhere are invited to paint their bump (using face paints!) and post a picture on social media using #pyb2018. Or maybe you painted your bump in the past and would like to share your images by using the #pyb2018

If you would like to meet like-minded mums in Donegal and paint your bumps together, call to the New Beginnings Wellness Hub, Glencar Shopping Centre, Letterkenny on Saturday 5th May 2018 from 1pm to 5pm.
