Save the 8th Campaigners will be visiting five towns across Donegal today as they campaign for a No vote in the upcoming referendum.
The pro-life group are beginning their convoy across the country today in Donegal, with a public debate being held in Letterkenny at 1pm.
Young people from across the country will be travelling through Donegal by bus in their effort to provide critical information on the abortion referendum and to encourage the public to ‘Vote No’ on May 25th.
The aim of the group is to prevent abortion become legal in Ireland. Their message is that abortion is not necessary to save a woman’s life and that every unborn baby is a human being who deserves protection.
The group are set to team up with local pro-life groups and supporters as they visit each town. The ‘Vote No’ Roadshow will also challenge a local TD to a debate on the 8th Amendment.
