The wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may seem like a distant dream, but we have just been treated to some new photos to admire today.
Kensington Palace have released the official portraits of the Royal Wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, with sweet bridesmaids and page boys and loving poses making the album all the more precious.
Here, we get a glimpse of some unseen moments from the much-photographed wedding that captivated millions of viewers worldwide.
The family portrait above was taken in the Green Drawing room of Windsor Castle following the carriage procession. We see now that the Queen and Meghan’s mother Doria’s soft green outfits were perfectly coordinated with the floral bouquets.
The photo is a big celebration of love, featuring Prince Charles and Camilla, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, while Prince William stands behind Catherine, who has Princess Charlotte on her knees, next to Prince George. Doria Ragland is the picture of elegance as the Mother of the Bride, standing proudly close to her Meghan.
The second photo is an adorable gathering of the royal Bridesmaids, who also wore dresses by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy, and the Page Boys, decked in their miniature versions of the Blues and Royals frockcoat.
Happiness radiates from the third photo of Meghan and Harry, which they used to thank the millions of people who watched and celebrated their wedding around the world.
“The Duke and Duchess would like to thank everyone who took part in the celebrations of their Wedding. They feel so lucky to have been able to share their day with all those gathered in Windsor and those who watched on television across the UK, Commonwealth, and around the world,” said the note from Kensington Palace.
