Ahead of Sculpt's 6th birthday bash, we find out how the Donegal studio became a one-stop premier beauty store.

Sculpt Cosmetics in Letterkenny are preparing to mark a special occasion with a beauty party in Letterkenny this Thursday 6th September – and everyone is invited.

The team is celebrating their 6th birthday with a glamorous event with discounts, bubbly and pro-advice for all guests at the Oliver Plunkett store from 6pm-8pm.

Sculpt has come a long way since it took Letterkenny by storm in 2012. Now, the store is a hotspot for professional makeup artists and makeup lovers with their new-look expanded studio, exclusive brands like Illamasqua, a full online store and industry-leading VTCT approved academy courses.

Established by Siobhan Boyle MUA, the Sculpt Studio and Academy has grown to include some of the best PRO artists in the North West who host the region’s only private VTCT school.

“Sculpt is my baby, to be honest, I pour my heart and soul into it,” Siobhan tells DW.

Siobhan has over 14 years of experience in make-up artistry for TV and Film, having worked with TG4, RTE and TV3 and editorial shoots before moving into makeup education in Dublin and London.

Siobhan moved home to Donegal in 2012, where she spotted a niche in the local beauty market and worked to make her boutique a success story during the recession.

“I grew my courses from ground up and developed one after another, based on what clients asked for. Starting and growing was tough but it is worthwhile when you love your job,” she said.
