Mona McSharry has qualified for the final of the 50m breaststroke final at the Youth Olympic Games in Argentina.
McSharry, a member of the Marlin’s Swimming Club in Ballyshannon, eased into the final in Buenos Aires.
McSharry, from Grange in County Sligo, was third in her semi-final last night, swimming 32.01 seconds – the sixth best time in the semis.
Ireland team-mate Niamh Coyne is also into the 50m breaststroke final.
McSharry was second in her head, swimming 31.78 seconds.
