Aldi Ireland has announced today that it will be selling Shamrock Infused Gin in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

Made by Listoke Distillery in Co. Louth, Tower Gin’s Shamrock Infused Gin will go on sale in 137 Aldi stores nationwide for €19.99/50cl from Thursday, 28th February.

Tower Gin’s Shamrock Infused Gin has been distilled in the traditional London Dry style, with all ingredients – including the fresh shamrock, coming from the highways and byways of Co. Louth.

It may be a cheesy idea for the national holiday, but the ingredients should yum.

The sweet orange and rosehips make for a refreshing gin, yet it also has a mild earthy taste which comes from the fresh shamrock.

They’ve called it ‘Gins & Reels’ for the ultimate Irishy factor. So if you’re planning a themed party this March 17th, this will be a fun one for the drinks cabinet.
