Teresa Shiels, who is a popular receptionist in a local GP surgery, had a full team of supporters for her appearance on the RTE gameshow on Saturday.
Amazingly, just as Teresa was winning her cash prize of €28,000, another Donegal name was drawn out for this week’s show!
That’s three weeks in a row that local contestants have won riches on Winning Streak. Killygordon man Gerard Muldoon appeared before Teresa, while next Saturday night is the turn of Pauric Collum from Redcastle to try his luck on the show.

Teresa said she hasn’t made any plans for her win just yet and will wait for the dust to settle after her TV appearance.
Teresa has been married to Charlie for the past 31 years and the couple have two adult children, John and Lisa. Teresa is also a proud grandmother to little Leah who watched from home. Her family, including her mum, Marie – a long time Winning Streak fan, and her three brothers John, Jim and Martin were there to support her from the audience.
