Did you hear about the latest treat for fans?
Episode two of the new Derry Girls series was another great night’s craic.
We loved the badass Ms De Brún, the Christmas cupboard raid and the return of Uncle Collum (boiled sweet anyone?).
But what really stood out was the music.

Music never fails to set the scene in this show, especially those fun slow-mo group shots. Channel 4’s Derry Girls is usually packed with 90s throwbacks that make us want to get our denim jackets and crimpers out again to dance to Spice Girls or East 17.
Spotify has finally copped on to how much fans are buzzing off the music, so they’ve created playlists of characters’ favourite songs.
Now we have Claire’s best classics, Michelle’s cheeky tunes and Sister Michael’s edgy judo soundtrack.
Our Derry Girls character playlists are now live on Spotify and they are cracker. #Derrygirls pic.twitter.com/9E7cPdUxHS
