One of Ireland’s most influential makeup artists was the star guest at a glamorous event in Letterkenny last week.

Louise ‘LMD’ McDonnell gave an expert masterclass at a sold out event hosted by Magees Pharmacy on 10th April.

Over 200 beauty fans flocked to McGettigan’s Hotel to hear Louise’s makeup tips and tricks. Using Note Cosmetics, she gave a step by step tutorial through a stunning look.

LMD is an award-winning MUA from Northern Ireland with a huge online following and her own beauty brand. With a litany of celebrity clients, she had many great stories and advice to share.

Aoibheann Walsh from G&G Letterkenny was MC for the masterclass, which was packed with fun moments, goodie-bags and giveaways. Blogger Emma Murray from The Fashion Chair looked after social media for the evening to keep all followers up to date from home.

A raffle was held in aid of the High 5 for Conall Fund to give away a bumper Note Hamper worth €150. Over €600 was raised and presented to the charity in support of popular Letterkenny boy Conall Shiels.

The LMD event was one of many hosted by Magees Pharmacy recently as they keep their finger on the pulse of new beauty launches and in-store events.
