The Donegal Rose of Tralee Selection event is back and they are on the lookout for the future Donegal Rose.
The 2019 Donegal Rose Selection takes place on Saturday 25th May in the Abbey Hotel, Donegal Town.
The Rose hopefuls will take the stage and be interviewed by MC Lee Gooch. The chosen Donegal Rose will then go on to represent Donegal in the Rose of Tralee International Festival in August.
Would you like to follow in the footsteps of former Donegal Roses?
Interested applicants must be over the age of 18 and not have reached the age of 29 by September 2019. The closing date for the Donegal Rose applicants is Sunday the 19th of May.
The Rose of Tralee will celebrate its 60th year running from Friday the 23rd to Tuesday the 27th of August.
Last year there were four young women from Donegal in the competition, with three having their moment on the Dome stage with Daithí Ó Sé.
Niamh Duggan was the Donegal Rose last year as well as three other women who were the Yorkshire Rose, New Zealand Rose and the Perth Rose.
Many of the girls who are in for the running as the Donegal Rose will have plenty of people cheering them on at the selection event, which is a night not to be missed.
The girls will also be able to look to last year’s Roses from Donegal which will help them see what the event is actually like and what to expect.
Make sure to get your tickets for the event before the 25th of May.
