It has definitely taken over the internet as it is all anyone can talk about since the photos were released.
When about the success of the show, presenter Caroline Flack said, “The secret behind Love Island’s success is that it’s a really simple show about a really complicated subject. No love situation is ever the same, no relationship is ever the same, we are all either in love, out of love, falling in love or falling out of it. It’s relatable and that is the thing that is never going to change.”
There is also an Irish Islander that will be entering the villa this year and her name is Yewande Biala and she is a 23-year-old scientist from Dublin.
When asked on how far she would go to get the man she wants in the villa, Yewande commented, “I am a terrible flirt but I’m such a girly girl and I can’t imagine stealing someone’s man in there. I don’t think I’d be that type but never say never.”
Curtis Pritchard who is a dancer on the Irish version of Dancing with the Stars is also appearing on the show as an Islander. He is ready to go as far as it takes to get the girl he wants in the villa, Curtis commented, “All I can do is be me and if a girl doesn’t like me, then she doesn’t like me. If she likes me then she likes me and I end up on top. It is what it is, it’s the circle of life.”
Get ready for a jam-packed two months of the Islanders trying to find love and get to the end of the season where one lucky couple will win £50k.
Love Island returns to Virgin Media Two on Monday the 3rd of June at 9 pm and Love Island: Aftersun will return the following Sunday.
