Any parent with a child going through the Leaving and Junior Cert exams this week knows the stress, worry and emotions of this challenging time. And that’s just the mums and dads!

But through all the fretting about theorems and poets and ‘how did you get on?’ questioning, there’s something to appreciate about this new chapter in a young person’s life.

Donegal singer and mother Bri Carr has released a song for this exam week called ‘Miracle You Are’.

Instead of focusing on the fear and nerves of new beginnings, she is celebrating the milestone with love.

Bri said: “I wrote this wee song when Ben was starting Primary School.

“Today, as he joins his friends and fellow classmates to spend the next few weeks in Leaving Cert, I thought I’d share with all the Mums and Dads whose little miracles are also spreading their wings and finding their way.

“God bless them all on their journey of life, and may they always know how loved they are.”
