Donegal makeup artist Brenda Doherty is celebrating another successful product launch with her new lipsticks.

And they’re the word on everyone’s lips.

Brenda, who owns her own salon in Ballybofey, has four new lipstick products to the collection of eyelashes she launched earlier this year.

Ranging from nudes to candy pink, the lip shades are perfect for daily wear and very affordable at €12 each. They are all matte finishes with a velvety finish – and not drying like many other mattes.

Brenda is one of the north-west’s top bridal makeup artists, and she designed these lipsticks specifically with her brides in mind.

“I like a long-wearing lipstick. The last thing a bride wants to do is to be reapplying her lipstick, so when I was developing them I was thinking bridal,” Brenda told DonegalWoman.ie.

“I love the formula, so I kept it the same for all the colours. They are longwearing, creamy and moisturising.”

Brenda’s lipsticks have become a hit with women for any occasion and she has been welcoming many customers calling into her salon to buy them.

Brenda likes to add a personal touch to her creations, just like her lashes.

“They are all named after my nieces and cousins. I like my brand to feel really personal to me,” she said.

And if you like this new collection, you can look forward to two new releases in the coming months.

“In autumn I’m bringing in a wine and red for girls who like a strong lip. I’m also bringing in a clear glossy lip topper to add shine without changing the formula of the original colours,” Brenda said.

B|D lipsticks are currently on sale in the Brenda Doherty salon in Ballybofey and will soon be available in Healthwise Pharmacies and McElhinneys of Ballybofey. Many more pharmacies in Ireland and Northern Ireland are expected to have them on the shelves soon.

Meanwhile, the B|D luxury false lashes are continuing to send the makeup world aflutter. The five styles range from subtle to glam and can last up to 20 wears.

“I know so many makeup artists who are loving the lashes. They trust me and know that the product is good,” she said.
