A talented makeup artist from Donegal is making a strong statement with her latest work.
Alanna Gormley, from Donegal Town, is well-known for her Halloween horror art.
But this time she is highlighting the frightening realities faced by Ireland’s health workers during the coronavirus pandemic.
Alanna painted scrubs on her entire upper body and a mask on her face to resemble a nurse. See the process from start to finish here:
The painstaking work that went into this display is Alanna’s way of bringing attention to the government’s ‘Stay at Home’ guidelines.
She is also taking part in RTE 2FM’s ‘Create Don’t Contaminate’ challenge, where young people are invited to create content from their homes and play their part in helping to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
