It may be downtime for the wedding industry, but some of Donegal’s top wedding suppliers have received a great boost this week in the North-West Brides Awards.
Donegal businesses scooped eight out of 13 awards in this year’s awards by the local wedding magazine.
Red Alert won Best Bridal Band, and their musician Micheal Brennan has two reasons to celebrate! Michael is also one of the wedding coordinators at Harvey’s Point which was crowned Best Venue. This will come as another triumph for Harvey’s after the opening of their new look Grand Ballroom in March.
Other Donegal winners included McElhinney’s Bridal Rooms, which won Best Bridal Boutique. Also in the Twin Towns, the new Chapter One hairdressing salon won Best Bridal Hairstyling.
Donegal singer and musician won Kelli McGrory Best Bridal Ceremony Music and SM Entertainments, based in Donegal Town, won Best Bridal Entertainment. Donna Gormley, owner of Amore Wedding Stationary picked up the Best Bridal Stationery award.
The Best Bridal Photography award went to Danny Dougherty Photography from Kilmacrennan.
