Ambitious female entrepreneurs from Donegal who are looking to take their business to the next level are being invited to join Going For Growth.
The award-winning business development programme is enrolling applicants for the latest cycle.
Sixty places will be available for the 13th cycle of Going for Growth, which will run from January to June 2021 and the deadline for applications is Friday, December 18th.
Past participants from Donegal include Anne Colgan of Get That Trend, an online boutique supplying a large range of women’s fashion. Anne took part in the 11th cycle of Going for Growth and encourages those who are interested in the programme to apply.
Anne says: “The networking opportunities and confidence gained from spending time around other ambitious women entrepreneurs was particularly beneficial. Our Lead Entrepreneur, Oonagh O’Hagan, was inspirational and I left each meeting dying to get back in to my business to put my learnings into practice.
“When the initial cycle was completed in June 2019, the support continued. The members in my group have all remained in touch and we have all benefited from bouncing ideas of each other. The regular presentations and information sessions from the Going for Growth team has been a tremendous support during recent times. I know that I only have to life the phone to get help if and when I need it. I highly recommend the programme to all serious female entrepreneurs in Ireland.”
The programme is seeking applications from female entrepreneurs – across all sectors – who are strongly focussed on growth. Ideally, businesses should be well established and trading for at least two years. Those selected for the Going for Growth initiative join interactive round table sessions led by Lead Entrepreneurs. The Lead Entrepreneurs are successful business women with personal experience of growing a business.
Anyone interested is encouraged to register on the website goingforgrowth.com and a link to the application form will be sent to them.
