Lough Eske Castle in Donegal has earned another prestigious place on a list of Ireland’s best hotels.
The luxury Donegal hotel has moved up two spots to eighth place in the 2021 list of Best Hotels in Ireland, compiled by U.S. News and World Report.
U.S. News & World Report, a recognised leader in hotel rankings, chooses the best hotels in Ireland based on an analysis of industry awards, hotel star ratings and user ratings.
The five-star Lough Eske Castle is located just outside Donegal Town, offering spacious guestrooms, Cara Organic Beauty Spa and swimming pool, Cedars Restaurant and the Gallery Bar.
The team celebrated their success with this message for guests worldwide: “Whilst we have not been able to welcome our international guests in the last year, we are delighted to be given the recognition and we look forward to the day we can welcome all our guests from home and abroad, when it’s safe to do so.”
US News & World Report is the world’s leading magazine in quality classification. It is visited by more than 40 million people monthly.
“The travel industry has faced numerous challenges over the past year, emphasizing the need to support and recognize hotels that continue to maintain exemplary standards,” said Zach Watson, travel editor at U.S. News. “This year’s list offers a reliable guide for travelers to use when planning their next getaway, whether that’s in a few months or next year.”
