Donegal Town woman Holly Mc Crea is celebrating signing with one of Ireland’s top modeling agencies.
The 24-year-old teacher and influencer has joined Catwalk Modeling Agency, marking a dream come true in her career.
Holly is best known as @__hollieanna on Instagram, where she shares style, travel and lifestyle updates with her 5,000 followers. She launched her page during her year as Miss Donegal 2019 and has since developed a distinct style that caught the eye of Catwalk founder Mandy Maher.
Mandy runs the agency in both Dublin and Galway and has a strong background in fashion, PR, television and bridal shows.
Holly first met Mandy at the McElhinneys SS20 fashion show – one of the last in-person events to take place in Donegal before lockdown. Since then, they have kept in touch on Instagram while Holly has been modelling for local boutiques and brands.
“I am absolutely delighted to be joining Mandy’s team,” Holly told Donegal Woman.
“The nice thing about teaching is I can work on shoots during evenings and weekends.
“All my work came about through Instagram, it just shows where setting up a public page can get you. You can really grow something out of it when you put a little bit of effort into it.
“Mandy told me that they were thrilled to sign me to their books as I have my own unique look and style that gives me the versatility of working with lots of brands that would be great too.”
The next step for Holly is to build her portfolio. The pandemic has halted fashion shows for now, but demand remains for PR shoots and online fashion and bridal showcases.
For now, Holly is full of gratitude and excitement for this opportunity.
