Happy St Patrick’s Day everyone. 

Everything and everywhere is going green today to honour the Patron Saint of Ireland. 

It’s great to see all the businesses around Donegal doing the same and turning Donegal green for Paddy’s day. 

Today’s blog is doing the same. 

I am giving you 3 Green Themed drinks that you can make and use and they all taste great. 

All these drinks are non-alcoholic and are full of fruit and veg and will be great if you over do it today and need a morning kickstart tomorrow 😉

ST PATRICK’S DAY SMOOTHIE

Serves 1

INGREDIENTS

1 Kiwi, peeled

1 Avocado, flesh only

1 tbsp Pumpkin Seeds

25g Spinach

200ml Almond Milk

2-3 Ice Cubes

METHOD

Place all the ingredients in high powered blender and blend until smooth.
Serve and enjoy.

GREENS ‘WAKE UP’ BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE

Serves 1

INGREDIENTS

100ml Coconut Water

1 shot Espresso

2 handfuls of Spinach

½ Lemon

½ Avocado

1 tsp Flax Seeds

1 scoop Protein Powder

2-3 ice cubes

METHOD

Place all the ingredients into highpowered blender & blend until smooth.

Serve immediately and enjoy.

CUCUMBER, ORANGE & MINT SMOOTHIE

Serves 1

INGREDIENTS
1 small Apple, roughly
chopped
½ Cucumber, roughly chopped
1 Orange, flesh only
Few Mint Leaves
100ml Water
2-3 Ice Cubes

METHOD

Place all the ingredients in a blender & blend until smooth.
Serve immediately and enjoy.

There you have it. 

3 green drinks where you can get your vitamins, minerals and your fruit and veg in a delicious great tasting smoothie.
This is especially good for people who struggle to eat fruit and veg as it’s an easy way to get them in.
