Miss Donegal Kirsty O’Donnell is hosting an ice cream day in aid of Little Angels Special School on Tuesday July 13th.
This ‘cool’ family fun event takes place at the newest ice cream parlour – The Big Scoop in Kelly’s Diner Mountain Top Letterkenny.
Kirsty is a current finalist of the Miss Ireland competition. She has worked in Kelly’s Centra Mountain Top for the previous four years and is currently studying General Nursing in LYIT. As part of her beauty with a purpose project, Kirsty has chosen to raise awareness for Little Angels Special School in Letterkenny.
On the ice-cream day, €1 of every ice cream sold will be donated to Little Angels Special School. The ice cream day will run from 12 midday- 8pm on 13th July.

The Kelly’s Team said: “We encourage all locals to come up to The Big Scoop and enjoy a delicious ice cream and enjoy the fun in the new outdoor seating area! We can’t wait help raise funds for Little Angels with your help!”
Kirsty wants to say a big thank you to everyone for the support on her Miss Ireland finalist journey.
“Support local!”, she says.
“Donegal as a rural county can sometimes be forgotten like some smaller charities. This is the reason I am so glad to have the opportunity to use my Miss Donegal platform to raise awareness for such a great school and give them the recognition they deserve! I believe every child deserves the opportunity to receive the essential education they need no matter what the circumstances!”
