Donegal athleisure brand FitPink is about to open its first permanent brick-and-mortar store at Victoria Square in the heart of Belfast.
Founded in 2019 by Jenni Timony, FitPink is a specialist women’s sports and lifestyle clothing brand that takes fit and comfort to the next level. Made for all shapes and sizes, FitPink’s range is designed to be both functional and flattering, and has been accredited as the All-Star Athleisure Brand of the Year in 2021.
The debut store is an exciting move for the brand, which expanded rapidly online during lockdown.
Jenni Timony, founder and CEO, commented: “Signing for our first permanent store is a great milestone for FitPink. Victoria Square in Belfast was a natural choice given its reach to our existing customer base and proximity to Dublin. We expect to open at least one other store in Ireland in the coming months. This is a very exciting time and we cannot wait to open.”
The store will launch in September in a 1,354 sq. ft unit on the upper ground level, close to Superdry, at Victoria Square. Shoppers will be able to pick up FitPink’s range of five-star rated high waisted leggings, t-shirts, sports bras and hoodies.
FitPink strongly believe in the power of women supporting women, which is why their brand ethos is built on championing women and sustainability. The debut store will continue the brand’s partnership with NGO, Plan International. With every pair of leggings purchased, FitPink will contribute to Plan International to support campaigns focused on improving the lives of young women and girls around the world.
Sustainability will also be a focal point in the store, with all packaging made from compostable material, acid-free tissue paper and the use of eco-friendly soy-based ink in all printing.
