Patrick Gildea Hairdressing are always innovating their services, and this summer is no different.
The centre of excellence in Letterkenny has introduced Lipid Booster + – a hair treatment from System Professional for damaged hair that needs some extra TLC.
What’s different about this product is that it lasts long after you’ve left the salon, because you can continue the treatment at home.
I visited Patrick Gildea’s on Saturday to get the Lipid Booster with Josey, and I can already feel the conditioning effect. My hair texture is normally coarse, but I notice this week it’s smoother and has more elasticity and bounce, making it easy to style.
The Lipid Booster is ideal for coloured and brittle hair, as it makes a strong protective barrier from future damage. At the same time it helps recreate the new bonds that determine our hair’s strength, texture and shine. Coming into summer, I think, is a very good time to take those extra steps to protect our hair.
The treatment is €15 in-salon and guests can purchase a bottle to use weekly at home for €50. All you have to do is spritz it on before drying.
Josey also refreshed my colour this week with full-head highlights and a light toner. Now I’m all set for some sunshine!
