Hollywood actor Pierce Brosnan better have brought an empty suitcase to Donegal, as he’s been on a shopping spree for the past week!
The former James Bond actor is touring towns and villages all over the county during his time here filming the new Irish romance film, Four Letters of Love.
Yesterday, Mr Brosnan was in Donegal Town when he paid a visit to Magee of Donegal on Wednesday, 8th March.
In store, Mr Brosnan met with Magee of Donegal manager Stephen Harron, Marketing executive Marion Mulhern and the team.
To mark his stay in the locality, Mr Brosnan was gifted a Magee 1866 Melvin jacket and baker cap, both crafted in Donegal Tweed designed and woven at the Magee mill in Donegal town, and badly needed in this cold snap.
Mr Brosnan then popped into the Four Masters Bookshop next door, much to the surprise of staff member Rosaleen.
When the shopping was done, he stopped by McCafferty’s Bar to show off his new tweed look!
The McCafferty’s team were delighted to meet the star and, to celebrate, announced that Wednesday’s cocktails would be ‘shaken, not stirred’.
