It’s been a brilliant August for the team Patrick Gildea Hairdressing!

The Letterkenny salon is celebrating being crowned Best Salon in Ulster 2023 in the RSVP Magazine Awards. Talented team member Siobhan Russell was also crowned the Best Colourist in Ulster 2023!

New Generation Stylists Bronagh and Megan both graduated from the Master Colour Programme in Dublin this month, gaining Wella Professionals’ highest accreditation in colour.

The salon has also welcomed Jon Walker, Head of Education for Wella in the UK and Ireland. Jon is overseeing education at Patrick Gildea Hairdressing and his placement here is unique to Ireland.

I visited yesterday amidst the excitement to continue my balayage journey.

Today was a shorter visit involving a small amount of colour to brighten areas and a Shinefinity toner. During my consultation with Bronagh, I wanted to talk about repair. Frizz-causing summer drizzle hasn’t helped me at all!
