Hollywood actor Peter Gallagher has been spotted out and about enjoying Donegal’s culinary and golfing gems.
The star of The OC and scores of US dramas and films, Gallagher has been taking some downtime on the premiere golf courses of the Atlantic coast.
Staff of the award-winning Fisk Seafood Bar in Downings were delighted to welcome Gallagher as a customer this week.
Team member Aoife McConville, who is a big fan of New Girl, took the opportunity to ask for a selfie which Gallagher happily obliged.

“He was really cool guy, so down to earth and laid back,” said Tony Davidson of Fisk.
Known for his portrayal of the beloved Sandy Cohen in The OC, Gallagher has graced the silver screen in countless films including The Player, While You Were Sleeping, American Beauty, and The Last Debate. His comedic timing also shone in his role as Schmidt’s father in the hit TV show New Girl.
With Irish heritage on both sides of his family, Gallagher is no stranger to visiting Ireland.
