This year marks a significant milestone for Ingrid’s Balloons, a beloved decor business in Donegal, as it celebrates its 5th anniversary.

Over the past five years, the business has blossomed into a local favourite, due to the creativity, vibrant displays, and strong customer connections by Bruckless-based owner Ingrid Proberkaite.

As Ingrid reflects on the journey, she says, “It’s hard to believe how far I’ve come. Sometimes, I forget just how much we’ve accomplished.”

This year alone has brought exceptional success. Ingrid worked with many local businesses, including Zona Dance, which won the Best Float award in the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Letterkenny, and just recently, Triona Design in Donegal Town took home the Best Dressed Christmas Window prize from the local chamber. The stunning window was carefully planned, designed and hand-crafted by Ingrid.

“We’re absolutely thrilled with these accolades. It’s wonderful to be recognized for my hard work and dedication,” Ingrid shared.

Ingrid says her accomplishments are a testament to the support she has received from her loyal customers over the years. “I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has supported my business. Your trust and enthusiasm have meant the world to me,” Ingrid said.

During the holiday season, this year and in the years to come, Ingrid is offering bespoke home decorations that bring festive cheer to any space. Whether it’s a simple garland or an extravagant setup, Ingrid’s Balloons is ready to make homes sparkle with creative displays.

It may be hard to believe, but Ingrid says she is already nearly fully booked for Christmas 2025! Plus she’s going to begin a Christmas clear-up service this January for those who dread packing away the lights and baubles!
