Gaoth Dobhair journalist Áine Ní Bhreisleáin is presenting a new series on exploring the wellness industry in Ireland – body, mind and soul.
‘Sonas’, starting on Wednesday 19th March, is a four-part journey into the latest therapies and treatments that people are trying in the pursuit of happiness.
Áine has been on a journey of change over the past year with a pivot in her career as she tries to find more balance in her life.
From Kombucha to acupuncture, forest bathing to Wellfest, Áine attempts them all, meeting experts along the way.

Áine is well-known across various productions. She presented the award winning radio show ‘Bladhaire’ on RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta from 2019-2024 and presented the TG4 travel series ‘An Cósta Thiar’, exploring communities existing in Gaeltacht areas on the West Coast of Ireland. She is a co-host of the popular Irish language podcast ‘Beo ar Éigean’ on RTÉ and is also a columnist with ‘Seachtain’ in the Irish Independent. She appears regularly as a current affairs contributor on radio and television. Áine has a keen interest in folklore, politics and history, traditional music and literature.
