The annual International Women’s Day event by the Donegal Women in Business Network was a huge success on Thursday, drawing over 120 attendees.

Under the theme “Fit For Business,” the event, sponsored by Local Enterprise Office Donegal as part of Local Enterprise Week, provided a platform for inspiration, networking, and practical advice.

MC Maria Rushe of Rushe Fitness kept the discussions going with real stories of business highs, lows and resilience.

Entrepreneur Jenni Timony-Gallagher of FitPink Fitness provided the keynote speech. With 30 years of business experience to draw upon, Jenni delivered a compelling message about the importance of finding balance between professional ambition and personal well-being.

The panel discussion featured a diverse range of successful Donegal businesswomen – Dearbhla Kelly of Donegal ETB, Marianne O’Donnell of Kombucha Na Dálaigh, and Chantelle Grant of Century Complex Letterkenny each brought unique experiences to the chat.

The “Fit For Business” theme was carried throughout the day, highlighting practical ways to have success in business while also committing to personal well-being.

There were also some bittersweet moments to the day as it marked network Facilitator Caitriona Sinnott’s last event and the last event for President Larissa Feeney before the handover to a new network leader.
